These are solid. Made from MIG welded steel box and angle stock, steel reinforced plywood tops have been bolted on and covered with a heavy plastic/rubber non-slip material. Painted finish is thin but acceptable. Worst case scenario is you scratch them up some how and they start to rust and you simply brush the rust off and touch up with some rust inhibiting paint. I weight 250lbs and I can jump on these things with not sign of trouble. Should last a long time.One negative I should add is that it must have taken an hour for someone to pack one set of these. Took me almost 40 minutes to get them open. That’s either good or bad depending how you look at it, but definitely not “frustration free packaging”. The upside is that they arrived looking perfect.
