Simple review; Great vest and will be worth your money if you use it. A more detailed review; I use it for pull ups, Australian pull ups, push ups, dips, chin ups and sometimes dumbbell farmer’s walk. 1) I haven’t tried to but probably wouldn’t use for running. Maybe light jogging but not running or any jumping like burpees or box jumps. I’m saying this without trying it but just an observation. 2) Straps seem strong and secure. I put it on for certain exercises and keep it on until I’m done so it’s not coming on and off frequently. It’s put on, I exercise for 30-35 minutes and then remove it for the remainder of my exercise. 3) Had it for a few weeks and used it 10-12 times so durability is to be determined. 4) Weights are a challenge to put in when you’re using every slot but I bought the 80lb vest and only use 6 total weights for a vest that weighs 30.8lbs. I try to increase by one sandbag weight each week. I have not weighed the sand bags but would guess they are 4.75lbs each and the vest itself is approximately 2.3lbs. 5) Fit and length seems fine for me. I’m a 5’8″ male at 165lbs on a good day. My waist size is 32-33 and my chest is 43-44. I would guess if you have a smaller waist, you’ll feel some movement. If you have a waist over 40 inches, you may need to review someone else. It may fit too tight at that waist size. Also, if you have a larger size chest, I would try it on at the store. A larger chest and possibly stronger guy probably would use all the front slots for the sandbag weights and that may be too tight in the chest. Misc. stuff: some sandbag weights are stiff from moisture. This makes it hard to put into the vest slots. Punch, karate chop or rough them up a little and they will slide in. The shoulder straps fit well and don’t bother me. The middle edge right above the “Fuel” logo pokes right into my chest or throat and bothers me. Because of different body types, this may not be an issue. Leave it out and air dry after you exercise or it will start to smell.
